DEBT
BE GONE!
Having
less than half of our monthly budget come in through regular
donations, we depend on one-time donations to make up for the
rest. Medical bills, school payments, repairs, and many more
expenses have led to us being in debt by an unprecedented 5-digit
amount. We declare that God takes care of ALL our needs
according to His riches in glory, and that this mountain of
debt be moved and dissolved! 10.000€ or $12,000 more to
go!
LOST
LUGGAGE
After
a very fruitful time in the US where we saw more people
healed than ever, we started our trip home to Mali via
Austria. Because we were in Quebec first, we had two tickets
and had to take four flights to go to
Austria: Memphis-New York-Montreal-Paris-Vienna. After a very long
trip, we arrived with none of our 4 suitcases.
Two have by now been delivered to us (one being Randy's personal
effects), but two are missing and they don't know
where they are. One contains all my personal effects
and it would be a disaster if all my clothes etc. were gone. We
need concentrated powerful prayer for those suitcases to
be found and delivered to us! In only a few days we leave
to go to Mali, and I need to get that suitcase before then!
FROZEN
BANK ACCOUNT
In
2013 H2TNI became an official organization registered
in Austria. What I did not know was that there was an expiration
date and that we had to renew four years later to stay
active. When the bank made some changes to their online banking,
they discovered that our organization had expired and froze
our account. That means that we have not had access
to any money in Austria since July 1st.
The necessary paper work to reactivate us was deposited weeks ago,
but to this day we're still waiting to be reactivated.
Austrian bureaucracy is slow and it doesn't help that August is
vacation season when things slow down even more.
I
had hoped this would be resolved by now. Not having access to our
money is now becoming more and more of a problem, as already we
have a debt of 10.000€ or $12,000. Of course,
once our account is unfrozen, we can access all the money our donors
have sent since July 1st. And thank God that we have our American
account and donors we now have to rely on a 100%.
It doesn't help that this is the time of year we have to pay enrollment
and school fees for our 30+ children in school
which is challenging even without debt and frozen bank
accounts. With one word, we are completely helpless
and cannot do anything but rely on God and God's people to help
us out in this season.
You
can give through Paypal in both America and Europe,
and our North American donors can send checks to
our PO box (which is better than Paypal as we don't pay a fee).
For our European donors, if you have an automatic
monthly deposit, please do not change it. If you'd like to help
out with a one-time donation, please send it to my personal
account so we can actually access the money:

Please
pray for fast resolution and a release
of finances! Next time, I will tell you about all the great
things going on in Mali. His Kingdom is advancing!
QUICK
NEWS
- Spiritual
Warfare - We need more intercessors
to hold us up in prayer. Please connect with us on Facebook
where we also have a secret intercessory page. Please email us
if you can pray for us daily.
- Believing
Imam - The imam who was healed and then
had dreams of Jesus and decided to follow Him
whole-heartedly is growing in his faith. More
and more people are finding out about the conversion
of this top imam of the first and main mosque of the town and
he's about to leave the mosque. Please pray for
him; his main worry is how to support his family after
he leaves.
- Children's
Education - We are very proud that all
of the children in our sponsorship program passed the
big exam at the end of 9th grade (failure rate of 70%)
as well as the end of High School exams. Those two are now going
to university. One of our 9th grade graduates
- a girl named Sama - wants to go to midwifery
school, but her sponsorship money does not cover the
costs, so that another $500 or 400€ are
needed. If you'd like to make that possible for her, please mark
your donation with "Sama".
- New
US Secretary - We are very excited about our new secretary
Martha who is such a God-sent. Thank you for
praying her in, and we welcome Martha to the family!
- Construction
Update - Construction of the next building that will
house our school in the beginning, as well as
dorms and the carpenter's workshop,
started on February 5th. Currently the walls are going up. Believe
with us for the remaining 60.000€ or $73,000
to come in so we can finish it and start our school.
- Street
Children - We have about 10 street children
who come to our base every night and who are growing in their
faith in Jesus. I can't wait to see them and to see which ones
we'll be taking into our home. Please pray we take the
right ones and consider taking on a sponsorship.
- First-Grade
Teacher - We are still looking for a French-speaking
first grade teacher to join our team in September. There
is such a need for a good, Christian school where the children
are treated with dignity and learn something.
Many of our Muslim neighbors would send their children to our
school. Please pray we'll find a teacher by fall!
- Malian
Leader Paul - Please pray for Paul who carries a lot
on his shoulders. Pray for his health, strength, and for his
wife to fall in love with Jesus and support him in ministry.
- Security
Situation - The first round of our presidential elections
were on July 28th. Last Sunday was the run-off
between the current president and the one who came second, and
no surprise, the current president won. Mali is
becoming more and more radicalized by jihadists.
Please pray for peace, and for protection
from jihadists.
- Miracle
Baby - Our faith has been renewed by people prophesying
recently that we would have a son. Please pray
for him to come from heaven to earth!
- Volunteers
- Do you want to come change an orphan's
life? Do you want to heal the sick? Preach
the gospel to those who've never heard? Come to Mali
for a season and let God change your life. No language skills
needed, but French skills are helpful.
I was once young, but now I’m old. Not once have I found a
lover of God forsaken by him, nor have any of their children gone
hungry. Instead, I’ve found the godly ones to be the generous
ones who give freely to others. Their children are blessed and become
a blessing. (Ps 37:25-26, PASS)
