AMERICAN WEDDING

On February 27 we got married at Randy's church in Eupora, MS. We had a lot of challenges in the days before the wedding. Crazy weather in the southern US meant our flights back to Mississippi a few days before the wedding were canceled repeatedly. We finally made it home. Then the pastor's flight to MS was canceled, and he had to purchase a new ticket. Two days before the wedding Mississippi had record snow that meant no power for days... in our case for the 48 hours leading up to the wedding. I had to take a flashlight to copy my wedding vows off my battery-powered computer onto paper. It threw our plans. Thankfully bridesmaids and groomsmen all made it. And since one of my bridesmaids chose to take a hotel room in Eupora where electricity was already restore, I got to have a hot shower the morning of the wedding.

On the morning of our wedding our photographer's son had to go to ICU (thank God he is fine), and we had to scramble to find another photographer. There was also some interrelational challenges casting a shadow on our day. In the end, it all worked out just fine.

AUSTRIAN WEDDING

A month later, on March 27, we had a second wedding at my church in Vienna, Vienna Christian Center. We had a wonderful time with my family and friends.

QUICK NEWS

•        Miracles - On his first day in Mali, Randy went to our village church with Paul. He prayed for an unbeliever who had a softball-size tumor and saw the tumor shrink under his hand. The man then gave his life to the Lord. Other people also got healed and saved. Praise God!

•        Easter Activities - Tomorrow Friday we're doing our Street Kid Easter Party. On Saturday we're having our Easter service. And hopefully we can take the kids to the swimming pool on Monday, as we didn't go last Christmas.

•        Fanta - Fanta has been diagnosed with STD's as well as a tumor in her uterus. Her husband comes to visit her on our base every couple of weeks for a night. Please pray for her, and for her husband.

•        Natanaël - Our little 3.5-year-old non-resident boy had two half-sponsors and lost one. Who would like to become his half-sponsor for 20€ or $30 per month?

•        New Video - Professional producers have made a new promotional video for us that you can watch on our YouTube channel here.

•        Patricia King - Patricia King is coming to Mali in June, and Bruce & Cheryl Lindley are heading up the team that is going to come with her to minister in Mali. If you'd like to join their team, click here for more information and to register.

•        New Truck Needed - We're currently spending hundreds of dollars to get our truck repaired that hs been sitting broken down for months. Our only working truck also keeps breaking down. We desperately need a new Toyota pick-up truck, which unfortunately costs as much as $40,000 or 30.000€.

•       Volunteers - We always need volunteers in Mali who can stay a few months or more. If you'd like to come help us, please contact me.
