WARFARE
BEFORE...
These past two months have been a time of excitement
and of difficulties, a time of joy
and a time of sadness, a time of the manifestation
of the kingdom of God and of intense warfare
from the hordes of hell. We're experiencing a shaking
as heaven and earth clash, as God is about to bring breakthrough
and the enemy is trying to keep that from happening. It's not comfortable,
but it's encouraging. It's not fun, but promising.
These
past few weeks we've been hit hard with sickness
- I myself battled for over 2 weeks with malaria, colds/viruses,
diarrhea, and Paul even longer than that with the same,
as well as many of our children. It seems like we're slowly starting
to come out of that.
We're
also in the worst situation ever financially. So
far we've spent $6,850 or 5300€
on tuition and school supplies,
and we are not even done yet. We are now $7,200 or 5700€
in debt - the most ever. With only 50% of our monthly needs
covered by monthly donors, the few one-time donations - that we
are VERY GRATEFUL for - just could not make up for the school expenses
in addition to our daily expenses. Please consider supporting us
on a monthly basis, or sending us a one-time gift.
As
if that wasn't enough, our 10-year-anniversary conference
is two weeks away, and with that, many more big amounts of money
to spend. It looks like an impossible situation.
It looks like a desperate situation. It looks like a situation only
God can turn around.
Again,
I remind you of the article I wrote that is being
published at the end of this month in Patricia King's e-magazine.
Pray that it will bear fruit financially as well as in bringing
people to serve in Mali.

BREAKTHROUGH
In
just two weeks we have the joy and honor of welcoming pastors Charles
Stock from Pennsylvania who was also our speaker for our
5-year anniversary, and Wesley Campbell from British
Columbia, as well as Samuel & Emilie Béland,
worship leaders from Quebec. The theme of our conference is "Transformed
by the Fire of God", as we're believing for a breakthrough
to spark the prophesied "Mali Fire Outpouring".
Looking at the warfare, we're expecting God to show up big time.
Please pray for us and the speakers as we prepare, and especially
during the week of activities.
Thu,
Nov 6 evening - prayer meeting
Fri, Nov 7 afternoon and evening - first two sessions
Sat, Nov 8 morning and afternoon
Sun, Nov 9 afternoon - big anniversary celebration
broadcast live on Christian radio and recorded by TV for later broadcast
Tue, Nov 11 - meeting in the village of Dio, in
the region where we once had 6 churches and now have 1
QUICK
NEWS
- Millet
& Corn Field - Our millet and corn will be harvested
right after our conference. We hope to have a big enough harvest
so we don't have to buy any millet for a year.
- Driver/Guard
- Our grown-up kid and driver Saloum has started
trade school which is a day school, so that Joseph
is driving for us now until our current day guard and future driver
Adama receives his driver's license. Our current
night guard and future day guard Suma (21) is
excited to have started school for the first time in his life,
attending first grade at night school. One of the grown-up street
kids filling in for Suma at night when he's at school has been
doing a great job and will probably be the one to be taken in
as our new night guard.
- New
Truck Needed - We just repaired one of our trucks again,
one of the several times per month, while the other one has been
in the shop for the past week. We desperately need a new
Toyota pick-up truck like in the picture, which unfortunately
costs as much as $40,000 or 30.000€.
- Volunteers
- We always need volunteers in Mali who can stay a
few months or more. If you'd like to come help us, please
contact me.
But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and
His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all
these things taken together will be given you besides.

6:33, AMP)
