NEW YEAR'S EVE

We had a wonderful time looking back at all God's done in 2013, looking at all the pictures, and at the goals we set ourselves a year ago. We spent time thanking God, taking communion, setting new goals, and praying for 2014, as well as playing games and having fun. We're expecting a great year ahead!

HEALING 2 BODY & SOUL

RAINDROP OIL APPLICATION - A ca. 50-minute session where pure essential oils are applied (partly massaged) on the back and feet, accompanied by prayer, to bring physical healing, tailored to the person.

INNER HEALING SESSION - Do you have emotional pain or issues that affect your life negatively? Having received many hours of inner healing myself, and been trained in several approaches, I'd be happy to help you become more free to walk in the fullness of God.

FITNESS TRAINING/HEALTH COACH SESSION - Are you overweight and need help to become all God has for you to be? It's time to start honoring God with our bodies, and as a certified fitness trainer I'd be happy to create a workout just for you.

2013 FINANCIAL STATISTICS

I have finished closing accounting for 2013, and have compared the numbers for 2013 with 2012. These next few paragraphs give you some information - feel free to skip them if you're not interested.

      General donations & sales 2013 - up 11.4%
      Expenses - up 19%

While we started 2013 with a negative of 2000€ or $2700, God did a miracle and we surprisingly finished it with a much smaller negative balance than expected - of 1070€ or $1450.

Our monthly average amount we spent is 9.820€, i.e. $13,360.

Our faithful monthly donors currently give a total of about 4.200€, i.e. $5,500.That means we are 57% of our expenses short every month, which is an decrease of 9%. In the best case scenario, that difference comes in through one-time donations. In the worst case scenario, the ministry goes into debt. It is my travels that help bring in those one-time donations.

People ask me where most of our donations come from - 48% of last year's donations came from the USA, while 45% came from Europe & Africa and mostly from Austria. 1.6% of our income came from sales (books & CDs etc.) in Europe, and 0.8% from sales in the US. 4% of our income came from Mali (tithe & offerings and from visitors).

US donors - you will receive your 2013 tax statements soon.

Some numbers of expenses so you have an idea where our greatest needs are; these are averages per month for 2013.

Food - 1.345€, i.e. $1,830 (excluding Claudia's food)

Schooling - 900€, i.e. $1,230 (tuition & supplies)

Car repairs/maintenance - 486€, i.e. $660

Gas for cars - 304€, i.e. $414

Electricity & house repairs - 523€, i.e. $712

All these numbers have gone up this past year.

QUICK NEWS

•        Joseph at YWAM - Tonight Joseph and I are flying to Dakar, and on Sunday his YWAM discipleship school starts. If you would like to help us with ticket and school fees for Joseph, please mark your donation with "Joseph".

•       Finances - Praise God with us that our debts were reduced dramatically, and pray for the money to come in to cover the next installment of tuition we have to pay right now.

•        Vehicle Trouble - The mechanic has assessed our totaled bus but not given us the numbers yet of how much repairing it would cost. In the meantime, our remaining two vehicles (22 years and 13 years old) alternate getting repaired at the mechanic's, costing us a lot money.

•        Cleon in the US with me - If you are in Kansas City or Harrisburg, we have an informal meeting scheduled in each city to make sure we get to see everyone who would like to see us. Please contact me if you'd like to come: Kansas City Feb 22, Harrisburg March 2nd.

•       Europe May-June - I'm starting to schedule meetings in Europe in May and June. Please contact me if you'd like me to come to minister at your church.

•       Volunteers - We always need volunteers in Mali who can stay a few months or more. If you'd like to come help us, please contact me.
