YEARLY
CONFERENCE
Every
November we put on a 3-day conference with a special
speaker coming in to celebrate our church's anniversary and God's
faithfulness. This year pastor Anthony Turner from
Colorado Springs came and blessed us greatly. Our topic was EXPERIENCE
THE TRUE FATHER, and many lives were touched not just by
the words but by the reflection of our heavenly Father so visible
in pastor Anthony. One of the highlights was one of the widows we
support as well as her friend giving their lives to the
Lord.

7th
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
On
Sunday we celebrated our anniversary with a big celebration,
baptizing four people, our kids singing and playing instruments,
and doing a dance choreography, and all being broadcast
live on Christian radio. We finished the day with a banquet
consisting of fresh mutton and sodas. It was a great day.

OUR
VILLAGE CHURCHES
On
Monday and Wednesday we went to our villages to minister to our
churches there. We had a great time worshiping and praising God,
listening to His Word, and seeing many people healed physically.

THE
BIG MOVE
I
was very thankful that we were able to get a guest room and bathroom
ready for pastor Anthony's visit who had the privilege of being
the first one to live in the new house.
Even
though the house is not finished, I have to move
within the next two weeks to make room for Paul & his wife,
as well as Elisabeth and her 7 children, and three Austrian visitors
coming for Paul's wedding. Please pray for the move and changes
ahead, as well as for the remaining $27,500 or
20.000€ to come in so the house can be finished.
CHRISTMAS
& WEDDING
While
there are no signs of Christmas in Mali, we make advent and Christmas
the most special time of year. Decorations and
advent calendars for resident kids and street children to anticipate
the days we celebrate Christ's birth...
On
December 23rd we are celebrating Christmas as a
family - first going swimming,
then having a great meal, and then exchanging gifts and eating Christmas
cookies. Around 40 people - including non-resident
kids - will gather in my living room for this special celebration.
On
December 24th, we have our Christmas service.
On
December 25th, we're inviting all street
children to come celebrate Christmas - games, praise, movies,
the gospel, prayer, food, shoes, and gifts await them. Please consider
helping us buy shoes and food, and pray for us
and the children.
On
December 31st we'll be going into the new
year together, looking at pictures of 2011, praying and
praising God, and of course eating good food.
On
January 7th it's the big day for Paul &
Rokia. Hundreds of people will gather on our base for their
wedding. If you'd like to participate in giving them a very special
gift of a one-week honeymoon in Senegal, please
email me. Click on the picture to look at the hotel they'll be staying
at.
