IN
NEED OF NEW US SECRETARY/TREASURER
Unfortunately
our new secretary has just stepped down, and we're once again looking
for someone to fill the role of secretary & treasurer, or a
team of two people for those positions. It should be someone who
knows us and believes in what we do and who would be representing
Healing 2 The Nations International in the USA and
do the administrative work. At this point it is
an unpaid position.
This
is what is required:
- Wells Fargo
branch accessible to you.
- Reachable
by phone and email most of the time.
- Willing to
use personal phone number as the ministry's state-side contact
number.
- Able to use
skype and email to stay connected.
- Possesses
a color printer and has room for some filing and storing DVDs
and the new book to come out.
- Basic word
processing skills.
- Access to
a post office where the ministry PO box will be located and has
to be emptied frequently.
- Copying,
filing, entering online and depositing checks.
- Printing
out and mailing thank you letters.
Please contact
me if you are interested or would like to know more. Who knows,
maybe a Christmas miracle is on the horizon?
CHRISTMAS
FESTIVITIES
I
want to thank everyone who's been generous
these past few weeks so that we can have wonderful Christmas events
these next few days.
On
Friday, we're celebrating Christmas as a family,
with our resident and non-resident kids and families. As every year,
we go swimming first, then we have the joy to all go to a restaurant
for a meal, and then we go home to eat Christmas cookies we've baked
together and hand out gifts. Every child that has a sponsor receives
a package with goodies in the name of his/her sponsor.
On
Saturday, we have our Christmas service.
We're hoping that the widows we support attend. Thanks to a donation
specifically for those widows, each one will receive bags of millet,
onions, sugar and milk powder, which will be a great help to them.
On
Sunday, our team is driving the 2 hours to the village
of Goro to have a Christmas celebration
there.
On
Monday, we are doing our Street Kid Christmas Party
with games, shoes for every child, a gift drawing, the
gospel, prayer, a movie, and great food and drinks.
Thank
you for praying for us during this busy season.
QUICK
NEWS
- My
Book - It's still being edited which is not an easy process.
A few book reviews can already be read here.
More info as the March release date approaches.
- Rebellious
Children - Both Jérémie (14) and Florentin
(15) returned to our family. Abdias (17) loves the freedom he
has on the street, while he gets to sleep on our base with the
street children, and goes to evening school to continue his education.
- Local
Attacks - Our neighbors do not like us simply because
we are Christians, and even those who do suffer for it from the
other neighbors. There is still the threat of police investigations
and this angry uncle wanting to take us to court.
We need your prayers for peace.
- School
Tuition - The next installment of school tuition for
our 28 children in school is due in January,
and that's a big expense. In addition, we keep repairing
our vehicles which adds up quite a bit.
- Miracles
- In the midst of all the problems, it's easy to forget
to mention all the miracles we're seeing primarily in the villages
- people being set free, healed, saved, restored...
- Construction
- There has been no progress on the
third house in half a year, as the finances are lacking. We still
need $36,000 to finish it. Without this house
it will be very tight when an American family comes to live with
us in April.
- Second
nephew - My nephew Christopher was
born Monday night. He's a healthy boy, my brother's second child.
52 cm and 4070 g, i.e. 20.5 inches and 9 pounds.
- Next
Trip - I'm going to be in the US for one month in the
beginning of next year. I actually start in Vienna
to see my new nephew, then go on to Shippensburg, Harrisburg,
New York City, Pasadena and Colorado Springs.
More details on my CALENDAR page.
- Supporters
- We continue being in need of not only financial
supporters but people who support us in prayer. We need
committed intercessors who are willing to take
just SOME of the warfare off of us.
- Europe
Trip - Europe will be the first place where I go with
my newly released book. I need to start planning my time in Austria,
France, Switzerland, and wherever else God opens up doors
in March and April. If you would
like me to come share, preach or present the book,
please contact me. So far the book is only coming out in English.
I
bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.
For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, who is
Christ (the Messiah) the Lord.
(Luke 2:10b-11, AMP)
