BACK TO SCHOOL

School was supposed to start on Monday, but the authorities decided to change it to tomorrow, and we only learned those news today.

And we have not found a driver. We had three prospects - one had an expired license, one couldn't drive, and the other one was not available during the day.

I have paid for driving school for about 5 people, and yet, I'm the only one on our base with a license. And I do not have a choice but to get in the car and drive them myself.

Three years ago I had to do that as well for a season - but it was fewer children, only one school, and that school was pretty close, and it was only back and forth once a day - and I ended up having a physical breakdown after three months. Today, we have 22 kids in 5 different schools, and they come home for lunch, and go back in the afternoon. Driving our kids is therefore a full-time job that starts at 6:30 in the morning and ends at 7 pm.

I'm sure I do not have to underline any more the importance of us finding a driver. I won't be able to do anything but driving, and already the rising heat has taken a toll on my energy levels. It's imperative for us to find a driver as quickly as possible!!!

NEW CHILD - PAUL JR.

Paul - a street child we've known for a year - moved in with us on Sunday. He's praying for a sponsor who'll support him with €40 or $60 a month. Read his life story on the RESIDENT KIDS page.

SAVE US, LORD!

Holding on,

Claudia
