WE NEED HELPERS!

I've been back for two weeks, and I've been very discouraged because we simply cannot run things just the two of us. And Paul being Malian, there are certain things he doesn't get either.

We're in dire need of WESTERN workers. I spend most of my time in the office and cannot watch the kids. We need someone who is with the kids to make sure they do their chores, keep their rooms tidy, shower, wear their glasses, etc. etc. Every time I go outside, I see something that's not right. The kids seem to know they can do whatever without consequences.

It's not a good situation. For years, and everywhere I go, I keep repeating myself that we need people. And still, no one is coming to help us out.

And so we're continuing in survival mode, in a less than optimal situation. Things are not the way they should be, and there's nothing I can do to change them. The verse I'm ending with below keeps going through my mind, as I've become "weary in doing good".

If anyone could come for one month, or 3 months, or 6 months, or longer, please contact me.

QUICK NEWS

  •        Driver - We have a choice between two drivers. One will work for us this week, and the other one next week, and then we'll make a decision. Pray we choose the right one.
  •        School - School starts October 5th. It will be a major challenge getting everyone to their schools, as we now have kids in 5 different schools. Pray also that something can be worked out for handicapped Hama.
  •        5th Anniversary - We're preparing for our 5th anniversary in November, and the US team that's coming. Pray for all the preparations, and the finances to complete them.
  •        New Kids - We're probably taking in a few more kids in the next few days, in time before school starts. Pray for wisdom to pick the right ones.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.(Gal 6:9)

Holding on,

Claudia
