ROKIA'S
BABY DIED
Two
and a half months ago Rokia gave birth to baby Michel. Paul's fiancée
was raped twice by her uncle who went to prison for it. Rokia nearly
died during the delivery, and baby Michel had issues with his lungs.
Over the last 2+ months they were in and out of the hospital, trying
to help the baby. Last Sunday, he died.
Paul
told me specifically to thank everyone who's helped with the hospital
costs. Please pray for Rokia, and Paul.
SEYBOU
HAS ABANDONED HIS FAMILY
Those
who've walked with me for longer know Seybou & Fanta and their
three children Hama (7 - handicapped), Sarata (just 4), and Jonathan
(1) very well. Sarata grew up with us, Hama came to life with us,
and Jonathan was born with us. Last August Seybou suddenly took
his family and moved out, causing a lot of harm before and in the
process. We were relieved when he let his two older children go
back to school after one month. My own heart was broken as I love
those children like my own - probably more than any of our other
children.
Paul
has just informed me that Seybou has abandoned his family and left
for Algeria, probably to try to get to Europe. It seems that he
has been talking about this for some time.
I
can only imagine how Fanta is feeling right now. I told Paul to
let her know she's still part of our family, and to come move back
in with us. He's going to talk to her later today. She has no future
if she doesn't, neither do her children. Please pray for her and
the children, and for God's will to be done!
I'm
thankful for your support and prayers! Thank you so much!
