Time To Launch – Austria, Malawi & South Africa

  Dear friends,

It's been a while since I've written to tell you all that's going on. Time is flying, and so I'm making a few minutes room to write to you all before I'm leaving the US in only a few hours.

 Visitor from Austria

Two weeks ago I had a special visitor from Vienna - Chris, the worship leader in my church in Austria, Vienna Christian Center. We had the honor of having him stay with us, and we all enjoyed each other's company. It was great to hear what's going on back home, and great to see him being blessed here thanks to the International House Of Prayer and World Revival Church. And last but not least, he had an opportunity to meet Dr Dave Ryser, and hang out with the Catch The Wind bunch, which was even more significant in light of the following exciting event:

Dr Ryser and his wife Sandy, together with a few of the Catch The Wind team - Paula & Kevin, Mary, Jenny, and myself - will be ministering in Vienna June 20-24. Please come if you can!!!

We are excited about what the Lord is going to do that weekend, believing for a great outpouring of His Spirit that will touch many individuals and the church as a whole.

World Revival School of Ministry (WRSM)

On Friday I completed my last semester at WRSM - praise God! While I have no more classes, I still have to write my thesis in summer. It is going to be on Folk-Islam and indigenous animistic religions in West Africa, with the specific example of Mali, how Christianity has failed in that culture, while Christian faith does have the true answer. The months of July and August will be dedicated to writing that thesis, August 21 being graduation day.
One interesting development has been that - because of many (good and bad)changes affecting all students - I was told that I could do a Doctorate instead of a Masters after all (since I already have a Masters in African Studies). However, they cannot tell me yet what that would involve practically. So, time will show.

 International House Of Prayer (IHOP)

Over the past few weeks, as I've been spending every afternoon at IHOP, I've been praying in the Healing Rooms as a soaker more and more frequently, as there is always a shortage of people, and I LOVE to pour out and have the honor of being His extended hands. I've also prayed inside the Healing Rooms several times, and am anticipating to do so a lot more when I'm back in the US. What a privilege to serve those needy and discouraged people, to offer them hope and healing, and see the Lord touch them in the deepest places.
Also, at this time the IHOP Ministry Team is being reorganized, and I'm part of the core team, having been on the team for most of my time in Kansas City. I simply love to minister in the IHOP services and conferences! I'd also have the opportunity to be a prayer captain, but that will depend on how long I'm actually gonna be in Kansas City.

 Going To Vienna

Tomorrow morning I'm taking a plane and flying to Vienna, where I will arrive on Wednesday, May 14, which is my 30th birthday. Last night I celebrated with my best friends, and I had the most awesome birthday I've ever had. At the same time, it was bitter-sweet since I also had to say good-bye to them all, not seeing them for at least 7 weeks. It was hard to leave. Tonight, we're going to a great restaurant where many other friends are going to join me to celebrate my birthday and say good-bye. Once in Vienna, the celebrations continue with my family that I haven't seen for one-and-a-half years. As you could read in my last e-mail, this birthday is so very significant for a number of reasons - turning 30 at the same time as finishing school and launching out in ministry. I'm very excited and love it!

 Malawi & South Africa

www.freshfire.ca

After two and a half weeks in Vienna, with many preparations for this trip, and meeting many of my friends again, I'm leaving on the Fresh Fire missions trip on June 1. First we're going to Malawi, where Heidi Baker will join us, and where we will feed thousands of people daily who are in danger of starvation. At the same time we will preach the gospel, and at night, we are Todd Bentley's ministry team and will heal the sick, set the captives free and pray with those giving their lives to Jesus.
After the first week, we are flying to Johannesburg, South Africa, where we will basically do the same. I'm back in Vienna June 13.

 Return to Kansas City

A few days later, the Catch The Wind team is coming for a week, and another few days later, I'm returning to Kansas City, around July 1.

Well, I'm really out of time now. Please check my website - go to the CALENDAR page to see all the events going on, go to AUDIO SERMONS if you wanna listen to any of my sermons, and to NEWS if you've missed any early newsletters you might wanna read.

Finally, the biggest prayer request at this moment is the trip home tomorrow. My visa expired 18 months ago, and I'm praying that I will be able to leave the country without any problems. Also, I only have 50 minutes in Chicago, which is where they're gonna check it (or not). Please pray with me!

Gotta go - who is there like our God, who is beautiful like Him, who is faithful like Him, no one is like HIM! May His presence abide in you always!

 All HIS,

 Claudia
