In our 'Spiritual Development' class we have to learn three Bible verses by
heart every week. I'm presently memorizing verses like the one above - not
only in English but also in 1-2 African languages, so that Holy Spirit will
be able to bring those up whenever I'll be back in Mali.
TODD BENTLEY & JILL AUSTIN CONFERENCE
Last week, we had six nights of meetings, where the above verse was put into
action. If you have not heard of Todd Bentley, he is a 26-year-old Canadian
God uses with signs and wonders. Honestly, I'm not so much amazed at His
anointing (though I am) - since we should all move in this - but in His
extraordinary wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He's only been saved less
than 8 years, but spends many hours with the Lord every day.
Well, last week we saw many healings and miracles take place. 4-5 blind eyes
were restored or even recreated, the deaf received their hearing back and the
absolute climax was certainly Thursday night: a man who had been paralyzed
got up out of his wheelchair!!! Praise God!!! How touching his testimony was,
and to see that empty wheelchair...
I believe Todd is only the firstfruits of many of God's people who will move
in signs & wonders, bringing God's kingdom down to earth. Todd has a very
strong evangelistic heart and is preaching all over the world, in many
stadiums with thousands of people, but also out of the streets, in schools,
leper colonies, etc.. He's taking people on trips with him and I'm praying
that God will open a door for me to join a trip to Africa.
The conference was part of Jill Austin's class "The Bridal Paradigm of
the Prophetic". We had to evaluate the meetings, had feedback times and
prayed for people as her ministry team. What a wonderful time of practical
ministry and learning, with the anointing of God being present so powerfully!
We truly had a wonderful week!
MOVING IN WITH SUE
Just after the new year started, I moved into a room in Sue's house - yet in
a few days I'm going to move into another room permanently. In February,
another student will also join us here. It will be a totally new lifestyle,
living together like that, and I can already tell that it will be a
challenge.
BACK TO SCHOOL
The first three weeks of school are already over. We're having intensive
Bible classes this term: Roots of Revival (= the Pentateuch), The Gospels in
NT Times, Luke - Jesus as a Revival Model, Bible Doctrines and Spiritual
Development. I enjoy the classes a lot!
CHALLENGES
I've felt stretched in every way, and under attack, recently, but I thank God
for working on my character and refining me. Yesterday my computer 'played
dead', and the financial disasters keep coming.
When I left Vienna, I thought everything with the apartment was settled. However,
right now everything's escalating, potentially ending in a disaster. Please
pray!!!
On the 3rd, the tuition for the School of Ministry was due and I didn't have
a single dollar. Which means, I still have 950 USD to pay that I don't have,
550 USD will have to be paid in February.
EVENTS AHEAD
Feb 15-16 Inner Healing Training - I will be joining a small team
to pray effectively for the emotional healing of the
hurting. This will start some time in February.
Feb 27-Mar 2 SIGNS, WONDERS AND THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY CONFERENCE
This going to be an awesome conference - so come if you
can. Speakers are Todd Bentley, Rick Joyner, Jill
Austin, Paul Cain, Mike Bickle, Bill Subritzky, Kingsley
Fletcher and Jack Deere.
Mar 21-24 World Revival Church (The Smithton Outpouring) will
celebrate the 6th anniversary of the beginning of revival
with a pastors & leaders conference. Come celebrate with
us!
end of April As part of Jill's class next term (Bridegroom Prophets)
she'll host a conference together with Jim Goll.
