Faith
is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Heb
11:1)
======================================================================
What a faithful God we serve! What a mighty God we serve! He delights in us
when we delight in Him. Nothing is impossible for Him. He owns the cattle on
a thousand hills (Ps 50:10).
I have now basically completed my linguistics studies here. My presentation
in class was last Friday and my report is handed in. Last day of classes is
Wednesday. And my mind is already in Kansas City, full of all the things that
will need to be done and taken care of. And full of joy of returning to my
new home church and meeting my friends there again. And full of anticipation
of the time ahead at the school.
When I came back from the AWAKE DEBORAH conference, having spent those days
in His glory, not desiring anything but HIM alone, I found myself with a new
measure of faith that was truly from Him. Full of joy I was praising God also
for providing a place to live, a car, the tuition and thanked Him for it,
looking forward to how He would be glorified in bringing it about.
Well, it seems God opened His floodgates after that, HALLELUJAH!
He resurrected the free car I had given up.
He provided a place to live.
He placed money into my hands.
AWESOME!

Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it
will be yours. (Mk 11:24)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And you share in this blessing because you have prayed! Recently God has
revealed to me - and it's so mind-blowing! - how great the reward is of those
who sow in prayer and those who sow financially. Wow! I was overwhelmed as I
understood that those would receive a great reward and the same blessing as
the person blessed. Suddenly I was full of joy that those who had given to me
would receive this great reward, and grieved about those who wouldn't. I hope
you hear my heart in this and understand me right.
I was given the e-mail address of a young couple Heather (24) & Dan (29)
and their daughter (2) in Kansas City who were looking for a Bible student to
rent a room in their house to. We've written back and forth a few times and
it really sounds great! It's a small room, but I'd share the rest of house
with them. We seem to have a lot of interests in common. They live only a 15
min drive from the church/school. Including the internet connection, it would
be 200$ a month (the limit I had set for myself - and people told me it was
unrealistic). :-) Please pray for God's will to be done, that He'd show me
clearly if this is the place to live. Theoretically I could move in right
away.
Today I was called into the office here at SIL. And it blew my mind as I was
given 400$ (ATS 6.400). They said they had heard about my need. :-0 I now
have 500$, which is half the tuition. Awesome God!
On Sunday Tami said to me that I would be given the car. A true miracle! She had only asked her
husband that day but the Lord had prepared his heart for her question. He
said he'd still have to fix a few things so I'd make it to Kansas City at
all. And then, he wasn't called to work (he's always on call) - which was
VERY unusual!!! - and he started working on the car. :-0 Today Tami called
her insurance, and now all the paper work has to be done in the next 3 days
before I leave. I called an insurance today and was shocked at first when I
found out that I'll have to pay 120$ a month for insurance (because I'm a
foreigner, don't have an American driver's license and have no driving
record). So I'm praying God will increase my faith to believe for that
amount.
In the past, I've translated an online devotional into German, but had to
stop because of lack of time. Now, they really want me to do it and have
agreed to pay me a little for it. Praise God! May I find the time to do it! It's
a great blessing because you learn so much. That online devotional takes you
through the Bible in one year.
When I get to Kansas City, one of my first priorities will be to have that
interview at the Christian School that said I could do substitute teaching
for them. Basically that's all I know so far.
So, rejoice with me! What an AWESOME God we serve! And love! And enjoy! Today,
I even got my first invitation to speak LOL (= lots of laughter, internet
language :-)) A young guy invited me to speak at his Bible Club in his High
School in fall. And I haven't even started Bible School yet!! :-))
Share with me the glory of our God and consider sowing into God's plans for
my life, because I know you will be greatly blessed. May HE be glorified in
me! May only HE be visible in me, and may I disappear because of HIS glory.
Love you all - thank you for your partnership.
May our
God expand your tents and fill you with His glory!
Many blessings,
Claudia
